China Glaze Hologlam Collection

Like most China Glaze fans, I am very excited about this collection.  I still have three colors from the discontinued OMG line (that I am frugal with their dwindling supply) and never got any Tronica polishes.  This seems like the next best thing to recreating it.  So much so, I bought nearly the entire collection (minus three).  I actually have no doubt that I'll pick up those missing three, but I didn't want to spend over $100 in one sitting.  Overall, I am very pleased with the collection.  For a glimpse a the full Hologlam Collection, click here.  I think that they have good holographic qualities and the formula, opacity and application was great.  There are 12 colors in all in the collection and a few of the colors have similar tonal qualities.  But bottom line is these colors are great.  I've found these holographic polishes do great in marbling and make interesting designs when used in stamping over dark polishes.    Check out my individual posts for mor swatches of Astro-Hot, Infra-Red, Not In This Galaxy, Galactic Gray, Sci-Fly By, Get Outta My Space, Cosmic Dust, Don't Be A Luna-Tic and OMG A UFO  Highlights for me in this collection are Galactic Gray, Not In This Galaxy and Infra Red. What are yours?

China Glaze Infra Red

A great, bright, fuchsia holographic polish from China Glaze Hologlam Collection.  I like a good, opaque, bright color.  This is it!  Application and opacity was great.  Three coats of polish were used in these photos.

China Glaze Not In This Galaxy

Of all the colors from the China Glaze Hologlam Collection colors, this one excited me the most.  Not sure the reason--it's probably because we've been stuck here in winter for so long here in MN, that I needed something that screamed spring/summer.  This color does it.  It's a nice coral, holo from the collection.  Just as pretty on my hands than in the bottle.  Application and opacity were great.  I have it painted in three coats here.

China Glaze Astro-Hot

From China Glaze Hologlam Collection, here is one of the featured pinks.  It's a nice color with good opacity and application.  You can see the holographic finish picks up more of the blue and purple undertones.  I have it painted here in three coats.

China Glaze Get Outta My Space

A pale purple from the China Glaze Hologlam Collection.  This is a nice, light, purple with  red/pink undertones and, of course, holographic qualities.  I have it painted here in three coats. Application and opacity were good.

China Glaze Don't Be A Luna-Tic

From China Glaze Hologlam Collection, this is a nice, seafoam green, holographic color.  Sometimes it has a very silver look to it.  The green color is very muted.  The formula and opacity, however is great.  I have it painted here in three coats.

China Glaze OMG A UFO

China Glaze Hologlam Collection produced this confusing color.  I think it's a green most of it's life, but it very close to gold in many ways as well in person and the right lighting.  Either way, I like it.  It's application and opacity was great.  I'm showing it here in three coats.

China Glaze Sci-Fly By

A nice, light blue holographic polish from China Glaze Hologlam Collection.  You can see the variation between differing lights.  I have a flash (left) and cloudy, daylight (right) picture that shows the many dimensions to this polish.  Application was good and opacity was decent in two coats, but I'm a three coat girl.  Here it is shown in three coats.

China Glaze Galactic Gray

This is a slate silver (sometimes brown looking) holographic polish from China Glaze Hologlam Collection.  I like that it's on the dark side and shows a lot of dimension compared to other polishes in this collection.  Application and opacity was great.  It is shown here in three coats.

China Glaze Cosmic Dust

From China Glaze Hologlam Collection, this is a silver, holographic polish.  It's a bit darker than it's holo predecessor OMG, but still a nice silver with good holographic shine in the right light.  You can see in one photo (cloudy, outside) the holo is barely noticeable.  But get it in the right light, and she shines great.  Application and opacity was good.  Photo here shows three coats.
